But what will we DO all day?

Wondering what we will DO all week?

Every portion of the Cultivating Collective Creativity event is optional, which means you can pick and choose what best fits your needs and your body. But if you’re looking for some clarity on the types of explorations and adventures we will have before you sign up, we get it!

Each morning will consist of an introspective exercise and creative vinyasa class led by a rotating lead instructor (Erin, Steph, or Bianca). The introspection will either be journaling, breathwork, meditation exploration, or a combination of these with the option to share and connect. These exercises are themed for the day itself and will help to highlight some of our focal points for the event – creative sequencing steps, unusual prop usage, dynamic movements pockets, and the art of cueing.

Introspection is followed by morning movement which will continue to expand upon the day’s theme in a combination of flow and form with time for play, personal practice, and questions. The entire week has different elements of creativity which will be showcased in each class. All classes have options offered, but are ideal for those with some level of regular movement practice.

The rest of the day will be about community growth. We’ll look at using simple sequences as a backbone to branch off into more creative territory. In both small groups and together, we will create libraries of unusual prop usage, dynamic movement flows that feel free and fun for the body, and helpful cueing hints for sharing complex transitions with others.

The goal of these workshops is to leave you inspired to explore both personal and group collective creation, and we sprinkle a variety of art and play mini series within them to set the mood. All this plus open office hours for one on one work and a dedicated inversion workshop to playfully explore the art of getting upside down.

In the evening, it’s all about recovery. We’ll continue the day’s theme and look at the art of creative sequencing from the softer side. Expect a variety of restorative-type classes and pairing introspection or meditative practices.

Outside of movement and classroom time, you’ll have ample opportunity to explore the grounds and nearby town/mountains plus connect with each other and instructors.
